Capsule...

The great New York Capsule Show… not that "great" anymore. The goal of Capsule is to allow some of the dopest brands from all over the world to showcase seasonal collections for retail buyers…something similar to Magic but 2x better. Contrary to belief it has been watered down to corny trade shows with free drinks...Sucks!!! I remember when they first started Capsule the place used to be packed wall to wall with the “who's who” of the world of style, it was equal space for each brand and one location of pure style. Now, it's just a bunch of mix level brands from skate to luxury trying to open & hold accounts in New York.

So in effort to remain in positive spirits, we left Capsule to head to one of thee best boutiques in NY: Teddy Boy! Teddy Boy is one of those places you have to experience! They carry all original goods and some vintage finds for men and women, the fits and style of their stuff …CRAZY!!! Peep the vintage flight goggles with a leather base going around them from the 1930's, SO SICK, I had to pose for a photo...
Just before heading back to the lab we made one last stop to Von on Bleeker & Bowery where the Indy super star: Peter Hadar hosts an ill weekly gathering every Monday. Despite the disappointments, we got confirmation and we can quote this with confidence, "They say a midget standing on a giant's shoulders can see much further than the giant." And I will say our future is looking GREAT, but that about wraps it up in a nutshell...or maybe a Capsule??
